It will be released in March 2009 to coincide with WrestleMania XXV. The game is being developed by Yuke's Future Media Creators and will be published by THQ, the same developer and publisher for the WWE SmackDown video game series. A trailer for the game was released at E3 2008, featuring a recreation of the Hulk Hogan versus Andre the Giant main event at WrestleMania III.
  • Samurai Shodown II
  • Samurai Shodown II
  • Regarded as one of SNK's greatest games ever produced, Samurai Shodown II successfully integrated a brand new, dynamic fighting system that was years ahead of its time. The fighting system introduced players to several new offensive and defensive maneuvers including the ability to roll both forwards and backwards, ducking to avoid high attacks, hopping to avoid low attacks and the implementation of a "parry" system that would allow players to deflect incoming attacks at the last second if performed successfully. In addition to the newly revised fighting system, Samurai Shodown II also features 16 unique playable characters, hidden bosses, a two player versus mode, and all of the wonderful translations fans have grown to love.

  • Fight NIght Round 4
  • Fight NIght Round 4
  • With Fight Night Round 4, EA is trying to accurately recreate the sweet science that is boxing. Round 4 will introduce a new physics system, which will enable pugilists to hit their opponents with glancing strikes or to perform a series of short, clubbing blows while fighting toe-to-toe. Electronic Arts promises a roster of more than 40 real-world boxers such as Sugar Ray Leonard, Lennox Lewis and, oddly enough, the ear-chomping, bewildering-statement-making ("I want to rip their stomachs out and eat their children!") Mike Tyson. We expect Round 4 will also deliver some powerful graphical upgrades, making it the most realistic-looking boxer yet.

  • Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
  • Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
  • The legends are true: Mortal Kombat is seeing some huge changes. Midway has unveiled Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe for the Xbox 360, a re-imagining of the classic brawler. As you might have guessed, DC Comics is lending a few well-known faces, including Superman and Batman, as playable fighters (there are 18 confirmed characters). The big news is that MK vs. DC is not expected to feature the gory Fatalities that the series is known for, and spurting blood will be kept to a minimum. That means you probably won't be chopping off Superman's head or ripping Batman limb-from-limb, unfortunately. Also available in a Kollector's Edition for $69.99.

The first of the modern "Calibur" games, this new version of Soul Calibur will see upgrades in the form of online leaderboards. While the game will include HD updated graphics and various LIVE features, online play was confirmed by Namco to be exempt which makes it an exception amongst most games ported to Xbox LIVE Arcade. Other features from the Dreamcast version (Museum, etc., with the exception of Mission Battle) are also in the game.
